Schedule Change & Survey

by Brandon Ware

Earlier this summer, we began praying and discussing a Sunday morning schedule plan that we feel best utilizes the worship venues we have available on our church campus. This schedule also allows us the opportunity to bring all of our Connection Classes back into one hour, something that will greatly help our student ministry.

We will be relocating our band-led service to our Fellowship Hall and adding an additional worship option. We are finishing up some cosmetic upgrades and will soon begin some sound upgrades to that venue as well. When completed, this will provide us with a really great space for our band-led service.

The date that we have landed on where all of this will begin is Sunday morning, November 3. On that day, our schedule will be as follows:

8:30am
—Acoustic Service (Fellowship Hall), Live Preaching
—Preschool (Birth through 4 years)

9:45am
—All Connection Classes: Preschool (Birth through K), Children (grades 1-5), Students (grades 6-12), College, Adults, Deaf

11:00am
—Choir/Orchestra-led Service (Worship Center), Live Preaching, Deaf Interpreted
—Band-led Service (Fellowship Hall), Preaching via video
—Preschool (Birth through 4 years)

While this is still three months away, there will inevitably be issues and details to be worked out and we appreciate your prayers for those details and for God's continued work through the people of Green Street.

The ethnic congregations will continue meeting at Green Street, with adjustments to this new schedule. We continue to be grateful for all that God is doing in their lives.

We want to walk you through what each of our services will look like, as well as some new opportunities for you to help serve. The advantages of this new schedule will be great including new worship options. If you are not in a small group connection class, this will also be a great time to consider checking them out. I hope that you will join us in the excitement and be praying now for our upcoming fall!
