Who's Your One

by Meredith Snoddy

For many years, I prayed for family members to know the hope and peace of Jesus and, one night, as I desperately prayed for my daddy, who was very ill, Jesus flooded my mind with names of people to pray for. I grabbed a journal and recorded each name. There were names I had not thought of since the late 1980's. While I did not know what was going on in each person's life, God did and God cared,

The Lord does not delay and is not tardy or slow about what He promises, according to some people’s conception of slowness, but He is long-suffering (extraordinarily patient) toward you, not desiring that any should perish, but that all should turn to repentance. - 2 Peter 3:9 (AMPC)

Imagine the impact if every Christian had ONE person they prayed for and shared the gospel with. Who are you committing to pray for? We must do whatever it takes to reach the lost, and it starts with one.

We may be the only person praying for someone to know Jesus - what a great and humbling honor and opportunity. We may be the only person offering His forgiveness, sharing the truth of redemption, trying to love the person as Jesus would. Don't ever give up.

Pastor Brandon wanted to offer this prayer guide for your use. We also have bookmarks at the church entrances for you to record the first name of the person you're praying for and share it with us by tearing off the end and placing it in the offering plate or in the drop box. We want to pray with you.
