Stewards of Children
Darkness to Light programs raise awareness of the prevalence and consequences of child sexual abuse. Stewards of Children® training is an evidence-informed prevention solution that increases knowledge, improves attitudes, and changes child protective behaviors. It offers practical prevention training with a conversational, real-world approach. Sign up (firstname.lastname@example.org) for this two hour training by High Point Police Lt. Kevin Ray of Green Street’s Safety & Security Team on either Wednesday, April 29 or May 27, 6pm to 8pm in room B-212 (use Entrance A). Childcare is available with PRE-REGISTRATION.
NC Baptist 1Day Training (How to Make Disciples) on Saturday, May 2, 8:30am-3:55pm and hopes that you will plan to attend. It is our prayer that God will use this opportunity to challenge many leaders to understand that regardless of our particular ministry area of service, the purpose and focus must be to make disciples as we lead, serve, and model.
In addition to large group equipping, there will be tracks for: evangelism and discipleship, preschool, children, youth, women, family, special needs, various worship / choir, leadership / deacons, adult Sunday School, adult small groups, stewardship, Hispanic, plus a pastoral leadership track.
