Church Family,

The purpose of this email is to inform you that we have been made aware of several positive Covid-19 cases involving church members. To prevent any potential further spread, we feel it best to move to online only worship services for at least the next two Sundays. You can access the livestream from our website or on Facebook live at 8:30am or 11:00am. Our plan right now is to resume in-person gatherings on October 18. By God’s grace, we have been meeting for three straight months now and have had no issues. Attendance has been growing a bit more with each passing week. However, these have been the warmer summer months. As we move into the fall, the likelihood that we will face more issues will only increase. The church by nature is relational and it is hard to practice social distancing. Personally, I am going to have to be more disciplined in leading you from the platform by example. There is nothing I love more than to see our people enjoy being together on Sunday. I met with our deacons this past week, and our desire is to keep meeting for corporate worship while also being conscience of health. This means that we are going to have adopt a bit more of a stringent policy for our gatherings moving forward. We will make you aware of what that will involve within the next two weeks. It is important to remember that we are all in this together. None of us have ever had to navigate these waters before. I am so thankful that we have a faithful Captain, and we must look to Him. Let me leave you with these verses from 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 —“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

Pastor Brandon
