Though Women's Ministry leads out, all in the church are encouraged to participate through signing a thank you card, baking goodies, donating items and/or delivering them and, most importantly, praying for our first responders.

How to help (note, specifics have changed from last year):

1. Donate: June 1-23, we will collect (300) $5.00 Sheetz gift cards (Sheetz is often the only place open for the officers to buy food on late shifts), packs of gum, peppermints, bottled water. Collection bins are located at Entrance A, Entrance D and in the Welcome Center.

2. Sign up to:
a. Bake with us (June 23, 25-26) or bring cakes, brownies, cupcakes or cookies and/or deliver those goodies to our EMT stations, Firehouses, 911 Center, or Fleet Services and brownies/cookies to be included in goody bags for police officers (bring items to the church Sunday, June 23 through Wednesday, June 26). You may also sign up to deliver items (you can contact Meredith for a delivery assignment, bake at home and deliver straight from there, if you'd prefer). Delivery will take place June 24-28, until needs are met.

b. Assemble goody bags for the Police Department (June 26, 9am-12pm and 6:30-7:30pm).

Sign up sheets are located in the Welcome Center Lower Lobby and Upper Lobby. You can also use the form below to sign up.

3. Sign a thank you card and pray: Thank you cards are available in the Welcome Center Lower Lobby and in your Connection roll folders beginning June 2.

In addition to this being a great outreach, it’s also a great time for all ages to serve together. Plans are in place for children through senior adults to serve together, especially ladies.
