Green Street 5k Fit: PTI Run on the Runway

WHO:
This is open to any age and ability. People can walk or run the 5k and families can do it together. Anyone under the age of 16 would be the responsibility of a parent or sibling over the age of 18.
RACE:
Our goal is: PTI 5K/10k Run on the Runway will be held on March 23, 2024 on the airport’s 9,000 foot parallel runway. This certified run will benefit The Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest NC, Greensboro Urban Ministry and Open Door Ministries of High Point.
All are invited to come out to run/walk the runway.
The runway provides a smooth and flat surface ideal for those wanting a personal best time. The course is also wheelchair accessible and baby stroller friendly. The entire event provides the opportunity for a close-up view of the airport and runways in a way you can only see on this one time each year.
Given the secure location of this event and for safety reasons, bikes, roller blades and inline skates will not be allowed. Dogs and other pets are strictly prohibited. More info on the 5k or overall event, click here.
