Making Disciples
Striving to be like Jesus, His followers have the responsibility and opportunity to serve. God has created each person uniquely, and with different gifts and abilities. No two people are exactly the same. When someone accepts Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior they are given spiritual gifts by God. These gifts are intended to be exercised while serving and making disciples.
We want to help you discover your gifts and provide opportunities for you to serve the Lord by serving others locally, nationally, and even globally - loving your next-door neighbor to your neighbor across the sea as we serve and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ..

Serve Directory
You can start this process by viewing our Serve Directory picking one up at the church or clicking here to view digitally. You may also talk to Meredith in our Missions Office at 336-819-4355, email us or talk with one of our pastors/ministry directors.
There are many volunteer needs. A new need we were made aware of is with Hospice. Click here for their full list, but their greatest need is Patient/Family Volunteers.

Mission Trips
We may drive to Charlotte to serve with a missionary we support, or to Wypming to serve the hispanic community or to New York to help with the distribution of Coats for the City or to the Middle East to serve refugees or to Romania to serve orphans. Or, we may serve with Baptists on Mission in a state or national Rebuilding/Disaster Relief effort. We are prayerfully considering trips for the 2023-2024 year.

If you are interested in foster care, respite care or adoption, contact: Baptist Children's Homes of NC or Seven Homes.
There are also many opportunities to serve with New Life Family Outreach (formerly Pregnancy Care Center) or the Guardian ad Litem Program.
